Before the Regional Court in Warsaw the second hearing took place in a class action, which ex clients of Amber Gold instituted against the State Treasury. Adv. Tomas Ludwik Krawczyk, partner at GKR Legal represents the plaintiffs. Persons injured in a large case of fraud are suing the State Treasury for payment of ca. 26.5 million złotys, being a damage they suffered as a result of failure by the Prosecutor’s Office to present the management of Amber Gold with criminal charges, despite having yet in January 2010 evidence sufficiently proving that they committed the crime.
